Why This One?
This isn’t just another pistol on a shelf. This is the PFC9 Complete Pistol, built from the ground up on Polymer80’s proven PF940v2 frame. The combination of a factory-installed threaded barrel and high-visibility night sights makes this a ready-to-run package out of the box. In our hands-on inspections before shipping, we consistently find clean machining on the slide and barrel, a proper finish, and correct fit to spec. It’s a configuration that works, and our customer satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars across 33 buyers backs that up.

Honest Assessment
After handling dozens of these, here’s my direct take.
✅ Pros:
- Ready to Run: It’s a complete firearm. No assembly, no fitting, no guesswork.
- Threaded Barrel Included: No need for a separate purchase if you plan to use a compensator or suppressor (adapter may be needed).
- Excellent Night Sights: The installed steel tritium/phosphor sights provide a clear sight picture in all conditions.
- Proven Reliability: Based on our sales data and the fact we’ve had zero warranty claims on this SKU, it’s a solid, reliable build.
- RMR-Cut Slide: The optic cut is clean and to spec, ready for a wide range of micro red dots.
❌ Cons:
- Price Point: At $639, it’s an investment over a basic build-it-yourself kit.
- 10-Round Magazine: While compliant for many states, those in free states will likely want to source standard-capacity magazines separately.
- Trigger Feel: It uses the standard Polymer80 connector. It’s reliable, but enthusiasts often upgrade it for a crisper break.
Who Should / Shouldn’t Buy
Buy this PFC9 if: You want a ready-to-shoot Polymer80 pistol without the build process. You specifically want the threaded barrel and night sights combo from the start. You value the assurance that the pistol has been assembled correctly and inspected before it reaches you (which we do for every unit).
Skip this PFC9 if: You enjoy the process of building from an 80% frame and sourcing parts yourself. You are on a very tight budget and a basic kit meets your needs. You do not need or want a threaded barrel or night sights.
Q & A
Is this really ready to shoot out of the box?
Yes. This is a complete, serialized firearm. It comes fully assembled with a 10-round magazine. You will need to comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase and transfer through an FFL.
What thread pitch is the barrel?
The barrel is threaded 1/2×28, which is the standard for 9mm. This is the correct pitch for most 9mm muzzle devices and suppressor pistons.
What brand are the night sights?
These are Polymer80’s proprietary steel night sights. They use a tritium/phosphor combination for visibility in low light. In our inspections, the installation is consistently straight and secure.
Can I use standard Glock magazines?
Yes. The PF940v2 frame accepts standard Glock 17/19/26-size magazines (Gen 3). The included magazine is a 10-round state-compliant version.
Is the slide cut for an optic?
Yes. The slide comes from Polymer80 with an RMR-cut pattern. This will accept Trijicon RMR/SRO and a wide variety of other micro red dots that share that footprint, often with the use of an included adapter plate.
How reliable is it?
Based on our direct experience selling this specific configuration since mid-2024, it has shown excellent reliability. We’ve had zero warranty claims filed on this product, which speaks to its build quality and consistency.
